iPad Art: Song of the Siren

Song of the Siren by A Harrison

Today’s featured iPad art piece is ‘Song of the Siren’, by Andrew Harrison. Here are some of the artist’s own words on the background of this one:

A massive thank you to the Wonderful Grace Nuth and the very talented Heather Winniestaffer for letting me use her original source photo for this Art work.Again hand drawn on the Apple Ipad using the Brushes App.The Greek myth the Sirens as long been a favourite of mine .And was the inspiration behind this painting. This has taken me over three months on and off to draw and a near disaster at the end i deleted the picture. luckily for me i backed it up a week earlier.

Harrison shared this piece initially at the iPad Art community I created on Google+, and then also on the iPad Insight Flickr group. I think this one is a stunning, life-like image and I hope to share more of Harrison’s work here soon.

  1. I work with Andy and he is a very talented guy. Most of his work on the iPad is stunning. His paintings are even better if that’s at all possible. Keep it up Andy. Lordy Lordy. :)
